Minecraft Roleplay is Cringe
My Opinion: Strongly Disagree
My reasoning is that this statement HIGHLY relies on the community you're part of.
Essentially there are 4 kinds when it comes to roleplay:
-1, Spindoctors: These people deliberately pick any kind of RP that will gather attention.
The more offensive, strange and borderline ban-worthy the better.
They try to play that card like they're really into it though it's actually all for show to grab those expensive views.
-2, Milktesters: These people are opening up to new experiences haven't acquired an identity yet.
They also tend to pick the stranger options, though with more purpose and direction somewhat.
i.e. You may still be plastic in settling down your true interests though you know what repels you and you may even have favorites already.
The rest is free to experiment with while you try to further define your opinions.
This is what i really consider cringe since this is accidentally repulse to the community rathan systematically making gross out content.
-3, Straightlaces: These people, despite having all the options available to them, want a simpler and more normal life.
They see the other option though are disinterested in them rather than repugnant.
These RP's are never cringe though they are certainly only entertaining to those actively taking part and boring to anyone watching from outside.
-4, Sandmen: These people want to constantly keep all the option open and all at the same time as well.
They don't want to settle on any one theme, though unlike testers, they understand the genres immensely.
This makes a very different dynamic as they tend to be calm, rational and charismatic.
By all rights they should be cringe by the concept though their demeanor and the level of expertise makes these more impressive than actually .
Generating (minecraft) Content Has Affected My Mental Health
My Opinion: Strongly Disagree
Now for me I say screw my audience when it comes to dictating what i do.
Regardless of whatever my audience wants i'll make whatever content i like and if you like it then okay whatever and if you don't i don't really care.
I think the point here is that you'll be hard pressed to find any Imperial dumb enough to rely on the entertainment industry in any respect as a viable source of income.
Since the only sacrifice then is your personal interest I can see everyone else already having the same opinion as me.
I think normies are very different in this respect that they tend to put pressure on their hobbies to perform around friends and by extension an audience even without a payroll.
We general have come to terms with the idea that we're never going to share all experiences and opinions and dip in and out when needed.
Normies could learn a lot about soialising if they didn't try to social too hard.
Minecraft Content Is Getting Repetative
My Opinion: Strongly Disagree
pretty much the same answer i gave for ponder 1 here.
that's all i have to say.
I Spend More Time In Minecraft Than Real Life
My Opinion: Strongly Disagree
pretty much the same answer i gave for ponder 2 here.
that's all i have to say.
The Minecraft Playerbase Is Dominated By Guys
My Opinion: Strongly Disagree
Well this leads on pretty much from my previous answers.
Essentially people fall into tropic interests to fit in.
That trope used to be that Minecraft was for guys though now there's a second trope that Dream SMP in particular is for girls.
I don't think for normies that has actually changed the situation though they obviously believe it does.
Essentially it has somewhat the act same mix of personalities, it's that the communities they fed from between Dream and not-Dream are markedly different.
However those communities themselves are well-known so if you know how people think in the community that birthed Dream, you won't be surprised.
As for us, being outside of both those normie communities our own version is very different.
I think as our community swayed it alternated between different sex dominences though honestly regardless of sex we are all very much the same theme throughout.
I Actually Enjoy The Minecraft
My Opinion: Strongly Agree
I think normies are severely lacking in the creativity department so their challenges tend to be focussed on not dying even when they ar making large projects.
We don't think like that at all.
To us the deaths are little mosquito bites as we execute our big plans.
To be fair the process in game is not that fun to watch and for the "gamer" normies the fight is big part of it.
Us we can talk and plot blueprints and theorise immensely, though when it comes to putting it in action that's more the stripping of the cloth rather than the chizelling of the figure.
That doesn't mean minecraft itself has no value, in fact quite the opposite.
For normies if there's not enough death battle they get bored.
For us the theory work is the real joy and gam with such variety in creative opens the doors to that.
