these crabs collect toxins from the ocean and store them i a kind of bladder though are unable to pass them.
scientists benefit from the crabs because they can collect large quantities of rare mineral enriched toxic chemicals from polluted areas.
as well as cleaning up pollution and allowing other species to thrive, they also supply the world with rare elements needed to make circuitry which we ran out of on land.
the crabs also benefit from having the toxins removed from their bodies as they live happier and healthier lives.
this is the future!
